It’s time to get ready for the 21st annual Georgie Awards®, Canada’s premier housing awards event that will honour B.C.’s shining stars of 2012 in the province’s home building, renovation and marketing community.
The Canadian Home Builders’ Association of British Columbia (CHBA BC) and BC Homes are pleased to invite all CHBA BC member companies involved in the residential construction industry to participate in the 2012 Georgie Awards®.
This year, the Georgie Awards® feature 45 categories for members to submit their award-winning projects. We’ve also added and combined some categories, such as adding three Custom Home categories under the Residential Planning, Design and Construction (New Homes). All Georgie Awards® criteria has been reviewed, updated and improved with help from the 2012 Georgie Awards® committee.
“We are extremely impressed with the standards and the high-quality work of our members,” says Doug Wittal, President of CHBA BC. “The calibre of the projects entered is a testament to the talent and effort of members throughout the province.”
The submission process is easy and straightforward. An esteemed judging panel from outside B.C. will judge all entries in November 2012.
Projects and products built, renovated, developed, created and/or marketed for the period of January 1, 2011 – July 31, 2012 are eligible for the 2012 Georgie Awards®. A building permit must be in place for any pre-sale marketing.
Call for Entries is now open. Don’t procrastinate – start preparing your entries now. Deadline for submission is Monday, October 29, 2012.
