This summer, I invited our current Chair, Alisa Aragon-Lloyd of Bridgestone Financing Pros, and incoming Chair, Jonathan Meads of StreetSide Developments, to each contribute an entry to the Monday Briefing, offering their personal perspectives on issues affecting our industry. With permission, we also shared a commentary from Mayor Richard Stewart.
Drawing on experiences from different parts of the industry and municipal leadership, their op-eds created a unique opportunity for members to connect, encouraging conversation, exchanging viewpoints, and looking ahead to the next steps in the residential construction industry’s future. It is a complex future that demands active, authentic engagement between industry and all levels of government.
My thanks to Alisa, Jonathan, and Richard for sharing their insights. Throughout the year, we will continue featuring member contributors who provide boots-on-the-ground perspectives, highlighting issues that matter to our industry and strengthening HAVAN’s advocacy for homebuilding across Metro Vancouver.
