Women’s Council Site Tour with Alabaster Homes
About The Event
Join us on a guided tour of the 65 unit wood frame townhouse, Spires Gate, in the heart of Richmond. This unique tour will take participants through the multiple stages of building multi-family homes, from concrete formwork to finish construction, and will provide an opportunity to learn about the different roles/careers in the multi-family development industry.
More than just the traditional hard hats and hammers, or marketing and sales positions, the goal of the Women’s Council Industry Tours is to open doors to verticals within the residential construction industry not regularly considered by, or for, women.
In an effort to help break down industry barriers, tours will highlight people who are successfully navigating career paths, to help empower and encourage HAVAN members to think outside of the box and open minds to new career opportunities.

A high vis vest, hard hat, mask, and steel toed-shoes is mandatory to access the worksite.
