Vancouver, BC — Members of the Homebuilders Association Vancouver (HAVAN) elected Jonathan Meads, Vice President, Multi-Family Division, Qualico (Vancouver), as the 2025/2026 Chair at HAVAN’s Annual Election Meeting on Thursday, October 9, 2025.

Meads has more than 30 years of experience in real estate development and construction. He joined StreetSide Developments, a Qualico company, eight years ago. An active industry volunteer, Meads has served on HAVAN, UDI, and municipal committees, and remains engaged with BC Housing and other government bodies. He succeeds outgoing Chair Alisa Aragon-Lloyd, Bridgestone Financing Pros.

Addressing 125 members at the annual dinner meeting, Meads emphasized the need to work together, recognising ‘we are in challenging times economically and I want you to know that I plan to be a voice for the concerns, challenges and problems we are experiencing. It is going to be hard work but if we work together we can accomplish
more than if we work apart.’
