VANCOUVER – On March 9, the Homebuilders Association of Vancouver (HAVAN) revealed the finalists for its seventh annual 2016 Ovation Awards, which recognizes excellence in new-home construction, residential renovations and design in Metro Vancouver.
From smartly designed Yaletown condo renovations, to awe-inspiring custom-built villas in Surrey, the HAVAN Ovation Awards showcase projects of all types and budgets, and connects real-estate-savvy Metro Vancouverites with the local professionals who can help them build, buy or renovate their dream home. HAVAN Chief Executive Officer, Bob de Wit, says, “In addition to creating great spaces, the Ovation Awards also spotlight industry leaders who are changing the way we think about housing. We are proud of the world-class builders, renovators and designers who are increasing density and creating neighbourhoods, initiating construction strategies to reduce energy consumption and environmental impact, and designing innovative technologies to address homeowners’ demands for comfort, convenience and connection.”
