Henri Belisle is the President and Co-Owner of TQ Construction, a family operated design + build firm operating across Metro Vancouver.
Committed to upholding TQ’s foundational values for the future, and continuing TQ’s tradition of excellence, Henri is a Red Seal Carpenter and is continually seeking to deepen his understanding of residential construction. Under Henri’s sustainable leadership, TQ Construction continues to evolve as an innovative and progressive design-build firm that bends to stand the test of time; an industry leader known for top quality craftsmanship and uncommon service.
Long before achieving his Red Seal in carpentry at BCIT, Henri worked alongside his family in construction as a kid and developed an affinity for the design-build sector. While overseeing the day-to-day operations of the business, Henri is an enthusiastic volunteer and liaison to the Homebuilders Association Vancouver. He believes that anything is possible if you have the right people around you, with everyone pulling in the same direction.
Alisa Aragon-Lloyd, 1st Vice Chair

Alisa offers personal and business funding solutions to individuals, families, builders, renovators and developers with large and small projects. Alisa’s passion is creating financial independence through real estate. With over 14 years of experience with renowned companies such as Polygon Homes, Ledingham McAllister, The Quigg Group, Pinnacle International, Maverick Real Estate, and Hollyburn Properties. She brings a wealth of expertise and experience to the table.
In 2010, she transitioned into the world of finance as a licensed Mortgage Expert and quickly gained a reputation for her innovative problem-solving skills and strategic thinking. finding creative solutions with sound strategies. She regularly contributes to the New Home & Condo Guide and is a past monthly contributor for the Real Estate Weekly (REW.ca). She has been an expert panelist along with BC Housing, CMHC (Canadian Mortgage & Housing Corporation), and Fortis. Alisa has been an active member of Homebuilders Association Vancouver (HAVAN) since 2012. She is a Director on the Board and is the Past Chair of the Supplier Council, past Vice Chair of the Membership Committee, and part of the Golf Committee. In addition, she volunteers at numerous HAVAN events. She has won Supplier Member of the Year 2016, Rooftooper of the Year – Supplier in 2015, 2016 and 2017 and Volunteer of the Year in 2014, 2018 and 2022.
Not only does Alisa excel in her professional endeavors, but she also dedicates her time to giving back to the community. She volunteers at numerous HAVAN events and passionately teaches high school students about financial literacy in the classroom.
Jonathan Meads, 2nd Vice Chair
Vice President, Streetside Developments, the multi-family division of the Qualico Group
Jonathan is Vice President of StreetSide Developments, the multi-family division of the Qualico Group. Jonathan has held the post for almost four years. StreetSide has been building townhomes, low and high-rise condos and mixed-use projects in the lower mainland for over 10 years but is part of a company that has been building for 75 years.
Jonathan has over 25 years’ experience in real estate development and construction. Prior to becoming VP Jonathan was Senior Development Manager for 2+ years, after 11 years with Concert Properties. He has worked in both Canada and the UK, with experience in wood, concrete and steel residential and commercial construction. Jonathan has a Diploma in Building Studies, a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Building Surveying, he is a Chartered Surveyor and holds his LEED AP designation. Jonathan has been a member of various HAVAN, UDI and municipal committees for many years and remains engaged with BC Housing and other government bodies. He is passionate about building better buildings and continual learning.
Dave Deamer, Immediate Past Chair
Vice President Construction, Polygon Homes Ltd.
Education: Graduate of Building Engineering Technology (Building Science) program at the British Columbia Institute of Technology.
Experience: I have spent the last 17 years in a construction management role, currently as Vice President Construction for Polygon Homes Ltd. with a focus on the construction of multi-family residential projects throughout the Lower Mainland. My responsibilities include: review of design drawings, construction design input, initiating onsite construction, preparation and management of the project budgets and schedules, scope of work and tender preparation, procurement of trades, contract administration, construction monitoring and obtaining occupancy permits. Prior to this, I spent six and a half years as a Building Envelope Consultant with Morrison Hershfield Ltd., providing building envelope design reviews, on-site inspections of new construction projects, contract administration (owners representative) for large scale building envelope restoration projects as well as completing building envelope condition assessments of existing buildings.
Chris Mould, Treasurer

Chris is a member of MNP’s Private Enterprise Services group in Surrey. With a special focus on the Real Estate, Construction and Manufacturing industries, Chris helps owner-managed businesses minimize tax exposure, increase their profits, and improve operations.
Drawing on more than 20 years of experience, Chris works with clients that have complex corporate structures, are tax driven and seek practical solutions. He helps with accounting and assurance, tax planning and compliance and connecting clients with the firm’s broad-based expertise when they need specialized advice and services.
An excellent communicator, Chris educates clients about issues and clearly explains their options so they can make informed decisions and structure their business affairs efficiently. With a deep understanding of guidelines and procedures, he demonstrates a high level of productivity and acute attention to detail, which translates into strong working relationships and added value for clients.
Chris obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from Kwantlen Polytechnic University in 2003. He is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), qualifying as a Chartered Accountant (CA) in 2006.
Committed to his community, Chris is the Treasurer for HAVAN (Homebuilders Association of Vancouver) and a soccer coach for Langley United Soccer. He has also volunteered for the Surrey Board of Trade, including being the Past Chair of the Finance and Taxation committee (2017 to 2023), and is past Treasurer for Peninsula Productions Society and Just Beginnings Flowers Society.
Randy Chin, Director

Randy Chin is the Regional Manager Mortgage Specialists for Vancouver Downtown at RBC. For over 12 years Randy worked closely with builders and developers as the Manager Builder Development for BC. In his current role, Randy continues to serve the real estate community and to help Canadians realize their dreams of home ownership, while creating a remarkable home-buying experience. Leading a team of Mortgage Specialists, Randy and RBC take a holistic approach to business by strongly collaborating with internal and external partners including Private Banking, Commercial Real Estate and Group Banking. Randy brings over 35 years experience in retail banking, credit and leadership.
Randy has been an active member of the HAVAN & CHBA for the past 7 years, currently serving as President for CHBA-BC and as HAVAN’s Past President. He is a graduate of BCIT’s Operations Management program and alumnus of Toastmasters International. Spanning over three decades, Randy also has education and experience in strategic planning, negotiation, and sales.
Randy and his wife live in Langley where they raised their two children. He has been a volunteer coach within the Langley Minor Hockey Association for 14 years and has also volunteered for the Langley Hospital Foundation. In his spare time, you will find Randy in the great outdoors hiking, paddling, motorcycling, golfing and sometimes running in obstacle course events such as Tough Mudder and Spartan Race.
Larry Clay, Director
President, Clay Construction
Larry Clay is the president of Clay Construction Inc. a luxury custom home builder specializing in building single family residences for high end clients. He is passionate about seeing the professionalism of builders and renovators improve in the construction industry. In addition, he loves building high performance buildings delivering efficient, healthy and comfortable homes. Larry specifically loves promoting HAVAN as the most credible and trustworthy voice in the Metro Vancouver area, educating builders/renovators and protecting consumers. Larry’s promotion of the Home Builders’ Association continues nationally as he serves as national president of the Canadian Home Builders Association for 2021/22.
Mark Cooper, Director
President, Shakespeare Homes & Renovations Inc.
Mark, a home construction contractor for over 30 years, is president of Shakespeare Homes & Renovations, incorporated in 1990.
He is a graduate of BCIT’s construction program and a Red Seal certified journeyman carpenter. Shakespeare Homes is a certified Built Green Canada member and a 20-time HAVAN Award winner, including best top-end renovation and Renovator of the Year – Large Volume and a six-time CHBA-BC Georgie Gold recipient as well as recipient of the most recent Grand Georgie Award for Custom Home Building of the Year.
An active member of HAVAN since 2007, Mark has served nine years on the Board of Directors in the roles of Second Vice Chair, First Vice Chair, and Chair 2019/2020. He is also the Chair of our Custom Home Builders and Renovation Council, active in the Association’s seminars, training and other events, and mentors new construction companies.
Mark also had a successful career introducing a high-tech product to Fortune 500 companies before returning to construction in the early ’90s. As an entrepreneur, Mark is also a co-owner of Wildeye Brewery in North Vancouver.
Shakespeare Homes is a member of North and West Vancouver Chambers of Commerce. Mark is active in community events, sponsors a youth soccer league providing soccer uniforms for over 750 players and coaches two teams. He is also a former fishing guide and remains an avid boater and outdoorsman. Mark and his wife are living and raising their children in North Vancouver and enjoying the north shore living.
Dan Glavind, Director
Sales Manager, Dick's Lumber & Building Supplies
Dan has spent the past three decades working throughout the Building Products Industry. In that time, he has evolved to be a goal-driven, results-orientated Sales Leader and Professional Manager. He is well known for and has been recruited due to his Team Building, Reorganizational and Promotional Skills.
Although Dan was born and raised in New Westminster, he has worked throughout North America namely Montreal, Philadelphia, Phoenix and now back to Vancouver. He has worked at all levels of the supply side, from manufacturing (Armstrong World Industries) to distributing (WG McMahon Canada) to subcontracting (BC Hardwood) and now back to distribution in his current role of Sales Manager for Dick’s Lumber and Building Supplies.
Throughout his career Dan has worked to improve the building products industry by dedicating his time to a variety of industry associations. He has been active in the BC Floor Covering Association (BCFCA & VIFCA), the Design Resource Association (DRA), the Healthcare Design Research Alliance (HDRA), the National Floor Safety Institute (NFSI), US Green Building Council (USGBC) and now in Vancouver with the HAVAN.
Dan not only believes in creating better communities through the structures we build but also through our community involvement. Through the years he has volunteered his time with groups such as Habitat for Humanity, Special Olympics, Kaboom, Easter Seals and Basketball BC.
Dan looks forward to working even closer with the Homebuilders Association Vancouver.
Robert Griesdale, Director
Director, Blackfish Homes Ltd.
In high school, he got involved in the theatrical program construction department. It was this program that helped inspire him to renovate his family home after high school, which ignited his passion for building quality homes.
Starting as an interlocking bricklayer’s laborer, he worked through every aspect of residential construction to eventually become a lead carpenter for a custom homebuilder in Vancouver. His desire to put out the best projects using the latest energy-efficient practices and green technologies lead him to realize that he could offer clients more.
Robert is a Director of Operations and a Journeyman carpenter. He uses his skills to oversee the day-to-day operations of some of Blackfish’s largest projects. He enjoys working closely with his clients and coordinating the staff, trades and suppliers to deliver his projects on time, on budget and beyond his client’s expectations.

Lynn Harrison, Director
Principal, Harrison Marketing
Lynn is the principal of Harrison Marketing Resources Ltd. and for the past ten years has been providing branding strategy, award preparations and marketing expertise to Builders and Renovators. She has worked in the construction industry for over 25 years, holding various senior positions in ParkLane Homes, Townline Homes, Liberty Homes and Vesta Properties. Lynn has been actively involved in the HAVAN since 1992 and continues to hold positions on the Board, various committees and task groups.
She received the HAVAN Marketing Award 2016, CHBA-BC Member of the Year 2014, President’s Award in 2004 and the Chair’s Award of Honour in 2012. She has contributed at the Board level for several years, including the position of Chair for 2013-2014. In addition, Lynn has committed her time to the Provincial and National levels of the association, serving as the CHBA BC President in 2017/2018 and has chaired both the National and Provincial Marketing Committees.
Kevin Hatch, Director
Owner and President - Twin Lions Contracting Ltd.
Kevin laid the foundation for the Twin Lions Group over 12 years ago as a general contractor, creating meaningful relationships and earning a reputation for perfection, one client at a time. While shepherding the early growth of the group, he also made an important corporate commitment to support the community in which he was raised and still calls home. As the founder and President of Twin Lions Contracting and TLG Millwerks, he continues to steer the growth of the companies through a laser focus on customer service, quality, and relationship building.
Contributing greatly to their success is a strong company culture and a shared passion for strengthening community, substantiated by several industry and community awards. As a Red Seal carpenter, BIV Top Forty Under 40 recipient, and serial entrepreneur, Kevin has spent the last 12 years driving growth and learning important lessons along the way. He lives by the adage, “If you’re not having fun, you’re doing it wrong.”
Ben Nishi, Director
Regional Energy Solutions Manager - FortisBC
Ben Nishi is the Manager of Commercial Accounts for FortisBC. Ben manages an energy portfolio of $400 million which includes industry sectors such as healthcare, social housing, market housing, office buildings, education, and municipal facilities. His responsibilities include the implementation and execution energy efficiency for these sectors, as well as the execution of the low carbon fuels program such the renewable gas program.
Ben has been a member on the CHBA Fraser Valley Board of Directors for 3 years, a member of the CHBA BC Government Relations Committee for 5 years and has been credited with the Innovative Energy Solutions award from the Energy Solutions Center in 2016.
Liam Robertson, Director

Liam is a Lawyer with Kuhn LLP who serves clients throughout British Columbia and assists in a variety of civil litigation matters such as, employment, human rights, family, property, and construction. In his free time, Liam can often be found spending time outdoors or playing recreational hockey.
Matt Robinson, Director
Owner, Monarch Floor & Window Coverings
Matt Robinson started Monarch Floor and Window Coverings in April 2008. The vision was to start a company that brought the showroom experience right to people’s homes and offices. With the focus on a higher level of customer service the company has experienced continuous growth with a large part due to work within the HAVAN. Before starting Monarch Floor and Window Coverings, he was the General Manager of Operations for Certa Pro Painters responsible for operations on the West Coast of the US and Western Canada. This experience exposed him to a wide range of markets and business practices. Prior to that he was the General Manager for College Pro Painters in BC.
He is the past Chair of the U40 Committee and past Quartermaster of the Renovation Council. Matt has won HAVAN’s Supplier of the Year Award for two separate years. Matt grew up in Gibsons on the Sunshine Coast and has lived in different parts of Vancouver for the last 21 years. He has a degree in Kinesiology from the University of British Columbia.
Cheri Stefanucci, Director
Vice President, Abstract Homes and Renovations
Cheri was born in Vancouver, then shortly after moved and was raised in North Burnaby.
Once married to Sandro, they moved to Maple Ridge/Pitt Meadows area where they began their business and raised their two daughters. In 1994 Cheri worked hard to attain her Real Estate license and sold real estate for 51/2 while continuing to help Sandro with their business, then in 2011 they moved back to Vancouver and Cheri joined Sandro full time in the business.
As Vice President of Abstract Homes and Renovations, she is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth business activities, and providing a strategic vision for the company’s growth and development.
Apart from her role at Abstract Homes, Cheri actively participates in the Homebuilders Association Vancouver (HAVAN). She is past chair of the Membership Committee, which involved helping to coordinate membership-related activities and ensuring the association’s growth and engagement with its members. Additionally, she is an active member of the Marketing and Communication Committee, where she contributes her knowledge and skills to enhance the association’s promotional efforts as well as sits on the HAVAN Awards Task Force Committee.
Her dedication and contributions to HAVAN were recognized when she received the prestigious ‘Associate Award of Honour’ in 2016. This award acknowledges her countless hours of hard work and commitment to the association, further solidifying her reputation as a respected and valued member.
Katerina Vastardis, Director

With over 17 years of industry experience, Katerina, the creative mastermind behind Designs by KS, has worked for a diverse range of companies – from large corporations to small family-owned businesses. Over the years, she has attained not only hands-on experience, but also formal training and education at BCIT for interior design, graphic design, sales and marketing. Working in specialized departments throughout her professional career has allowed Katerina to gain extensive knowledge in the world of plumbing, kitchens, and bathrooms.
Combining her expertise and passion for design, Katerina embarked on her entrepreneurial journey 7 years ago. It was during the same period that she became a proud mother of Iliana, which only fueled her determination. At Designs by KS, we create life changing experiences through well designed spaces and with our proven process we bring vision to fruition.
Katerina’s most recent proud achievement is being awarded HAVAN’s Interior Designer of the Year 2023. When Katerina is not designing, you can find her in the kitchen cooking Greek family recipes, and entertaining her family and friends in her warm and inviting home which she’s created with pride over the years.

Garett is a CPA that has spent that last 20 years serving the residential construction sector with Centra Windows in positions of CFO, COO, CEO, and Board of Director.
