Tell us about yourself & your company?
Sebastian: I have been in the construction industry for over 15 years with most of my career to date with PCL Construction in both Toronto & Vancouver. I have always had a dream of running my own residential construction business and decided to try to realize that this past year. With Spoke Construction I am hoping to build a new network of professionals to deliver home construction projects for clients through a thorough and transparent process with an emphasis on great communication. In addition I also hope to develop my own projects with interested investors to establish a rental property portfolio in Vancouver and on the north shore.
How did you get into the residential construction industry?
Sebastian: My desire to run my own business and be an entrepreneur within an industry that I’ve always wanted to be a part of.
What keeps you in the industry?
Sebastian: My love for construction and the current need for more housing to be built.
It’s 11AM Saturday morning, what are you up to?
Sebastian: Playing with my two daughters.
What are your hobbies?
Sebastian: Love skiing and biking (MNT & RD), but have also done a number of triathlons over the past years.
Does pineapple belong on pizza?
Sebastian: Absolutely!
Proudest moment?
Sebastian: Completing Ironman Canada in 2018 and finishing in the top 100.
What have you done in your community in the last year?
Sebastian: With PCL Construction I was one of their team Captains for the Tour de Cure. This past year we raised over $90k in support of the BC Cancer Foundation.
Last piece of advice you have received?
Sebastian: Ensure all projects be completed on schedule!

Sebastian: Getting accepted recently as I start to navigate my new career path in residential construction.
Share an interesting fact about your life / life experiences?
Sebastian: I was born overseas as the son of a Canadian diplomat and have lived in Guatemala, China, Brazil, Ottawa, Toronto and now Vancouver.
