Tell us about yourself & your company?
Jennifer: Euro Canadian Construction is a family-run high-end construction company that has been around since 1997 in Vancouver. We help homeowners build or renovate their dream homes. I create video content for the company, as well as their photos and any other social media content. I also do some business development and find new people we can work with in the future, whether it be interior designers or sub-trades architects, other contractors etc.

Jennifer: Biking on the trails through UBC
Proudest moment?
Jennifer: Directing my first full-length musical, The Fantasticks. And one of the actors I cast and directed got a nomination for the Ovation Awards (Vancouver Musical Theatre Awards).
Favourite HAVAN event and why?
Jennifer: Coats For Kids, I love being able to give coats to the kids who need them. And being together at the event with everyone and making gingerbread cookies.
What have you done in your community in the last year?
Jennifer: I painted wish boxes for Children’s Wish Foundation and helped out on their Santa Flight

Jennifer: Working with my brother, father, and mother.
What inspires you?
Jennifer: My Dad, I admire him on how he has built the business and still runs it today.

Share an interesting fact about your life?
Jennifer: I used to fly in a helicopter daily for work. And I was an extra on the movie Hot Tub Time Machine. There was actually a scene that we kept filming that was never part of the movie where John Cusak runs around the chalet with a fork in his eye, and he pushes through another girl and me and ends up on the floor in front of us. It was cool that we got to do many takes with him. Too bad, it’s nowhere in the movie.
Last piece of advice you have received?
Jennifer: Just keep going, no matter what.

What do you collect?
Jennifer: I used to collect Barbie, since I was five years old. I still have them in the original boxes. I have no clue what I’m going to do with them.
