BURNABY, BC (March 14, 2016) – The Canadian Home Builders’ Association of British Columbia (CHBA BC) is pleased to announce the winning entries for the 2016 Georgie Awards®.
The winners were announced on Friday, March 11, in Vancouver in front of over 600 members and guests at the sold-out 24th Annual Georgie Awards® Gala. The event featured emcee Todd Talbot, from W Network’s Love it or List it Vancouver, opening act Fresh Dance Crew and a performance from break-dance crew Now or Never in the second half of the program.
To be eligible for a Georgie Award®, members of the Canadian Home Builders’ Association of BC submitted entries from across British Columbia that were built, renovated, developed, created and/or marketed during the period of January 1, 2014 – September 30, 2015. The finalists and winners were selected by a panel of out-of-province industry professionals.
“The Georgie Awards® continue to be the premier housing awards program in Canada because of the diverse and high-level entries we receive from across British Columbia,” said CHBA BC’s CEO Neil Moody. “This year was no exception and all of the winners represent the level of quality and professionalism we have come to expect within the residential construction industry in the province.
