The purpose of the Education and Technical Committee is to develop and present industry-focused educational programming, in-person and online, to align with the goals set in HAVAN’s strategic plan. The educational programing is focused on informal training, where there is no formal examination process.
The Technical Advisory Group (TAG) is a subcommittee of the E&T Committee and its focus is to identify, research and address issues related to building science and the Building Code affecting residential construction, including new products and materials, building technology, and best practices in the Lower Mainland.
