Henri Belisle is the President of TQ Construction, a family operated business founded over 3 decades ago by his father Ralph Belisle, who beyond his wildest dreams, grew the business on firm handshakes and knocking doors — building TQ from nothing into a nationally acclaimed company.

Under Henri’s sustainable leadership, TQ Construction continues to evolve as an innovative and progressive design-build firm that bends to stand the test of time; an industry leader known for top quality craftsmanship and uncommon service. Long before achieving his Red Seal in Carpentry at BCIT, Henri worked alongside his family in construction as a kid and developed an affinity for the design-build sector. He knows that anything is possible if you have the right people around you, with everyone pulling in the same direction.

Henri is a Director of the HAVAN Board, Vice-Chair of the HAVAN RenoCouncil, past Chair of HAVAN’s U40 Committee, and an enthusiastic volunteer and liaison to the Association.

Keith Lloyd, Founder, Partner, C.O.O., The Business Surgeon Consultancy

Keith Lloyd has been an Entrepreneur for 34 years. His first business, Vancouver Sushiman – a wholesale food manufacturing company – was a catalyst in pioneering the Grab and Go industry in grocery stores that is so popular in the current marketplace. He built it from concept to a multi-million dollar venture over a 20-year span, creating detailed systems and processes along the way.

In 2006, his focus shifted to providing consulting to other businesses to avoid the ups and downs that he had experienced. Since then, his focus has been working a number of small and medium sized companies in various industries, including construction. In 2012, his company rebranded to become The Business Surgeon Consultancy.

From Keith: “My experience working on a construction site in limited, however, I do have a lot of experience in this industry as I went to post-secondary vocational school for construction and then experience working briefly. That said, our company has partnered with a number of builders, renovators and suppliers to the industry for the last 4 years – and they’ve won major awards! And as a HAVAN member of 2½ years, we’ve grown to understand members and their needs. While they build spectacular projects we help them with their business building.”

Ralph Belisle, Founder + Director of Sales, TQ Construction

Born and raised in Vancouver, Ralph Belisle has a straightforward philosophy about home renovations. Ralph, former President of TQ Construction, is a seasoned carpenter who, along with his partner Hélène founded TQ Construction in 1985. Together they have built a company that has won over 65 industry awards which focuses on top quality workmanship and excellent service. Ralph provides strategic leadership, supports employee development and is a champion for the company’s vision and values. Ralph has extensively contributed to the evolution of the residential construction industry not only through the lifespan of his own business, but in several leadership roles. As a Chair of the Renovation Council of the Greater Vancouver Home Builders Association, Ralph has been a key player in developing new regulations and standards for renovators. He served as Past President of both the Canadian Home Builders’ Association of BC and the Greater Vancouver Home Builders’ Association. He was also a former director of the Vancouver Better Business Bureau. Ralph continues to to serve on numerous committees while he oversees many aspects of the projects at TQ Construction.
