Finalists of the Homebuilders Association Vancouver (HAVAN) Awards for Housing Excellence, presented by FortisBC, were revealed on Wednesday, March 13, at Vancouver’s The Gallery at Also The Kent.
Capturing the very best in new-home construction, renovation and design projects, the HAVAN Awards for Housing Excellence places a spotlight on the accomplishments of Metro Vancouver’s homebuilding industry showcasing stunning custom-built homes and whole-home renovations, complete with state-of-the-art automation, luxurious primary suites, and breath-taking kitchens, plus premier multi-family production developments, townhomes, laneways, and multi-plex housing solutions.
“It is crucial to work with knowledgeable, local builders as the proposed housing legislation is a bit of a moving goal post at the moment with the province still finalizing details, and the municipalities’ uneven adoption of these changes, and the energy-saving Step Code, from one jurisdiction to the next,” said HAVAN CEO Ron Rapp in a news release. “We have the professionals to build the homes, and the HAVAN Awards program is an excellent resource for homeowners to connect with builders, renovators, designers, and industry professionals to help bring their next project to reality.”
This year’s awards feature 154 builders, renovators, and designers competing in 60 categories. Winners will be announced at a Gala on Saturday, May 4.
