Surrey Board of Trade Releases Call to Action and Planning Guide to Prepare Workplaces with Pending Economic Re-Opening
The Surrey Board of Trade has released a call to action to their 6,000 member contacts and to Surrey’s business community with an Action Guide full of ideas and concepts to consider and implement, as we start thinking about phased-in economic recovery in British Columbia.
“While we think about getting back to business we must measure optimism with realism,” said Anita Huberman, CEO, Surrey Board of Trade. “We understand and appreciate how challenging everything is – we are in a new economy. We must do everything we can to prepare our workplaces now as we hear soon with phased-in economic re-opening.”
The Action Guide references the reality first and then goes into practical workplace considerations for:
- Workplace Safety
- Workforce Support
- Customer and Visitor Expectations
“Every business and organization is going to be different in how they reconfigure their workplace and support their workers. WorkSafeBC guidelines will be integral, when ready, to different industries and workplaces.”
